This role will have initial funding available up to June 2025.  This role will take a lead in working across communities (Bundjalung and Gumbaynggirr) to coordinate a suicide prevention network.  You will be responsible for bringing together the network and identifying the Aboriginal community suicide prevention plan for the region.  You will also coordinate after care service delivery supports from Galambila and provide supports to Bulgarr Ngaru after care services.

This role will work collaboratively with stakeholders and services providers to work collaboratively to focus on suicide prevention for Bundjalung and Gumbaynggirr communities identifying gaps in current service delivery and supporting connections for existing service providers in the suicide prevention and after care supports for the broader community.

In this role you will also manage a small team of health professionals (Aboriginal Health Workers and other allied health professionals), to deliver social and emotional wellbeing supports within the Galambila Social and Emotional Wellbeing framework.

This is a fulltime position.  A competitive salary package with a base salary of $90,000 – $110,000 and the ability to salary sacrifice up to $31,177 as a PBI organisation.

  • 11.5% superannuation;
  • Additional 5 days sick leave per year;

  • Flexible working hours with monthly Rostered Days Off.
