Most non-emergency health needs can be addressed from the Yarrawarra clinic but from time to time, the doctor may ask you to attend Galambila clinic for follow up.

Men’s Health

Even when in good health, it’s a wise idea to visit a GP at least once a year.

It is really important to make the most of your visit. You could book in for a health assessment which is a comprehensive check of your health.

A range of things can be checked and discussed at your health check including:

  • Heart health
  • Kidney health
  • Blood pressure
  • Cholesterol levels
  • Diabetes risk
  • Smoking and other lifestyle factors
  • Screenings appropriate to your age
  • Skin checks
  • Social and Emotional wellbeing checks

If health issues are identified early, then lifestyle changes and health management can often improve the outcomes of health issues.

Youth health and wellbeing

Chronic Disease Management

Chronic disease management can include health coaching and support, follow up, monitoring and health checks, general health education on lifestyle risk factors and health interventions.

A visiting Audiologist from the Local Health District also visits monthly. The visiting Audiologist is able to see 8 children on that day.
